Youth teams: weekend round-up

On Saturday, Matthieu Chalmé's side were beaten 2-1 at Stade Louis Goubet in Lège-Cap Ferret. Logan Delaurier-Chaubet pulled a goal back late on, but the Girondins still came home empty-handed from this away trip. This set-back sees Bordeaux slip down one place in the league, dropping to 6th place with 36 points.

Romain Ferrier's side sparkled in their final game of the season this Sunday, thrashing Stade Lavallois 5-1. The goalfest saw Alix Briastre, Hamza Bouhadi and Christopher Attolou all finding the net, as well as a particularly impressive brace from midfielder Driss Nasser. The young Girondins end the 2021/2022 season in 3rd place with 50 points.

This Sunday 15 May, Sylvain Blaquart's side rounded off their season with a 1-1 draw away in Béziers. Noah Ramon scored first for Bordeaux, but the youngsters were caught napping when the hosts snatched a late equaliser. After 26 games, the U17s finish the season in 2nd place on 57 points.

Margaux Aimé's side suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of La Roche-sur-Yon, who thus leapfrog the young Girondines to top the league. The girls are now second in the league with 16 points, just 1 point behind La Roche-sur-Yon.
