A 3-0 victory over Trélissac!

The Girondins played their second pre-season friendly in sweltering conditions this Saturday, facing local rivals Trélissac with a slightly modified starting eleven: Rouyard – Louis-Jean, Mwanga, Barbet, Nsimba – Ignatenko, Fransergio, Sissokho – Delaurier-Chaubet, Rocrou, Makagni

The Girondins duly dominated the game, with Logan Delaurier-Chaubet (11’), Yoann Barbet (22’) and Danylo Ignatenko (23’) all going close early on. The best chances fell to Emilien Makagni and Danylo Ignatenko, with the former denied by the Trélissac keeper (16’) and the Ukraine international firing his volleyed effort just over the bar (45’).

David Guion made a swathe of changes at half-time, fielding a much-changed XI: Swiderski – Atallah, Bokele, Gregersen, Nsimba – Lacoux, Onana, Sissokho – Delaurier-Chaubet, Rocrou, De Lima. Logan Delaurier-Chaubet connected with a great ball from Issouf Sissokho to finally put Bordeaux in front (53’, 0-1). Sissokho then scored one himself, firing off a lovely, curling shot after some great build-up play by Marvin De Lima (57’, 0-2).

David Guion made more changes, sending on Emeric Depussay, Sékou Mara, Emilien Makagni and Jacques Ekomié. The Girondins were firmly in control throughout, and Emilien Makagni smashed in a powerful drive to put the game well and truly beyond the hosts' grasp (85’, 0-3). A fine victory for Bordeaux, testament to the progress of their pre-season preparations.
