Statement - Financial Agreement approved by the Commercial Court

In a ruling issued today (Tuesday 19 July 2022), the Commercial Court of Bordeaux gave its seal of approval to the financial agreement reached between FCGB and its creditors. In its ruling, which is fully aligned with the recommendations of the Public Prosecutor, the court notes that FC Girondins de Bordeaux has not failed to make any payments, and that the terms of the agreement guarantee the long-term stability of the Club in Ligue 2, with various measures in place to ensure that the club has ample working capital for the period to June 2023. This legal ruling will be a central element of the case presented to France's National Olympics and Sports Commission (CNOSF) on 21 July. The court has now confirmed the club's current and future financial stability. This official approval indicates that the club has responded precisely and transparently to the demands of the DNCG.
