This Saturday, France snatched a goal in extra time to emerge 1-0 winners from their clash with reigning champions the Netherlands! At the New York Stadium in Rotherham (England), France dominated throughout but could not quite get the better of the Dutch keeper. Les Bleues finally found the net in the 102nd minute, with a penalty taken by ex-Bordeaux star Eve Périsset. Our very own Ella Palis came on as a late sub in the 106th minute, while Mylène Chavas was on the bench this time round. Corinne Diacre's side are now through to the semi-finals of the Euros for the first time!

The semi-final will take place this Wednesday 27th July (kick-off 9pm French time) at the MK Stadium in Milton Keynes. Allez les Bleues !
