Logan Delaurier-Chaubet signs new contract!

The Girondins de Bordeaux are delighted to confirm that Logan Delaurier-Chaubet has signed a new deal. The 20-year-old graduate of the club's youth academy has added three years to his existing Girondins deal, which will now run until June 2026.  

Born in 2002 in Saint-Jean-de-Verges, Ariège, Logan startred out with US Verniolle before spending five seasons with EFC de L'Hers. In 2015 he played for FC Pamiers before switching to SC Balma. He was already on the Girondins' radar, and at the age of 15 he joined us in July 2017. Here in Bordeaux, Logan has gone from strength to strength with our youth set-up. By 2020 he was a fixture for the U19s and then the reserves. He joined the first-team squad on a full-time basis last month, and has impressed David Guion during pre-season. Having demonstrated his goalscoring capabilities in recent friendlies, he made his professional debut last Saturday at the Matmut ATLANTIQUE, in the draw with Valenciennes. Logan was named in the starting line-up for the season opener, demonstrating his speed and technical finesse, as well as his impeccable work rate.  

Logan has already earned the nod from France's youth teams, winning 4 caps and scoring 1 goal at U16 level and earning a further cap with the U18s in February 2020. The club is delighted to confirm that this talented young forward, another gifted academy graduate, will be with us for years to come.
