This Sunday, the Reserves faced Poitiers at Stade Stéhélin for their second outing of the new season in National 3. They conceded after 33 minutes, and Romain Ferrier's side never quite managed to find the equaliser - the game ended 1-0 to Poitiers. Their next game will be against Entente Sportive Guéretoise on Saturday 17th September at 18:00, to be played at the Léo Lagrange Stadium in Guéret.

This Sunday (4th September), Matthieu Chalmé's young charges took on FC Lorient at Le Haillan. Led by new captain Maxence Bouter, the Girondins took the lead in the 8th minute thanks to a goal from Mehdi Harfi. Just a few minutes later Enzo Grothe made it two (16’). Mehdi Harfi scored twice more in the second period to seal an impressive hat trick (56’, 90’), and Bordeaux were 4-0 winners after a very dominant display. Their next game will be another home fixture, this time against Stade Rennais FC on Saturday 10th September 2022, kick-off 11:00 at the Plaine des Sports du Haillan.

Also this Sunday, Bordeaux's U17 faced Vedène in their second game of the new season. Hãnoc Lusweki was the stand-out performer, scoring the winning goal for the Girondins (55’). Sylvain Blaquart's side are currently 4th in the Group E table. Their next game will be against Canet Roussillon FC on Sunday 11th September, kick-off 11:00 at the Plaine des Sports du Haillan.

With the official start to the season fast approaching, Emmanuel Tanguy's youngster took on Brive in a friendly. They cruised to a 5-1 victory thanks to goals from Nolan Muteba, Mahamat Bindi Abdoulaye, Marius Savidan and Dayann Lynion (x2).
