Youth teams: weekend round-up

This Saturday 10 September 2022, the U19s hosted Stade Rennais for their 4th match of the season. After conceding in the 5th minute, Matthieu Chalmé's side fought back. Striker David Tebili snatched an equaliser in the 40th minute, and neither side was able to break the deadlock in the second half. This weekend the boys will travel to face La Roche Vendée Foot, kick off Sunday at 15:00.

This Sunday 11 September, for their 3rd outing of the league season, the U17s welcomed Canet Roussillon FC. Despite scoring twice courtesy of Troy Essa Mvondo and Dian Jacky, Sylvain Blaquart's side ended up losing 3-2. The lads' next game is a big one: Olympique de Marseille, this Saturday 17 September at 11:00, on home turf in Le Haillan.

This Sunday morning, the young Girondines hosted EA Guingamp for their second goal of the new season.  Reduced to ten players after 20 minutes, Margaux Aimé's charges could not resist the attacking might of the current league leaders. Carla Lecaille and Sarah Guellil both scored, but the girls were narrowly beaten 3-2.
