Mixed results for the Academy

A 2nd win in three games for the Reserves! Romain Ferrier's side got the better of Guéret on their own turf (1-2) this weekend, with Emmanuel Biumla and Emilien Makagni providing the goals. This result leaves the boys in 4th place in the league, on six points. Stade Poitevin lead the pack with nine points, followed by Libourne and Chauvigny suivent. The Reserves' next game will be in two weeks' time against Neuville.

The Girondins were beaten in La Roche-sur-Yon (3-1) on their 5th outing of the season. Mehdi Harfi gave Bordeaux the lead in the 12th minute, but the boys were 2-1 down by half time and conceded again in the final minutes. This second defeat of the season leaves the Girondins in mid table (6th with 7 points), after 2 wins, 1 draw, and 2 defeats. Matthieu Chalmé's side host Niort next week.

A first victory of the season for the girls! Bordeaux were too strong for CPBB Rennes (3-1). Serena Pinto De Queiros scored twice (29’ and 71’), before Ilona Koko sealed the win (82’). A consolate goal for the hosts changed nothing (90’). This victory puts Bordeaux back up into 4th place in their pool of six, with three points. The girls will be looking to build on this success next week when they travel to face Le Mans.

The young Girondines took part in one of French football's most legendary rivalries this weekend! Sylvain Blaquart's boys hosted Marseille for their 4th game of the season, a match which ended in stalemate. Hãnoc Lusweki snatched a late equaliser (78’) for Bordeaux, cancelling out the visitors' first-half goal (12’). Currently 9th in the league with 5 points, the U17s face Montpellier next weekend.

First game, first victory! The U16s beat local rivals Saint André de Cubzac (1-3) this weekend thanks to goals from Marius Savidan, Abdoulaye Mahamat Bindi and Nolan Muteba. Next weekend's match is a home tie with Trélissac.
