Bordeaux Women lost out to Stade de Reims by the narrowest of margins in their third game of the D1 season. Louis scored the only goal of the game in the 35th minute, and the Girondines never quite managed to pull one back. And yet, things had started so well! Bordeaux looked solid and well-drilled, and Melissa Gomes set the attacking tone with an early effort (9'). A few minutes later, Maëlle Garbino forced a fine save from Reims keeper Alvarado (27'). With half an hour played, the Girondines were dominating possession and looked comfortable. But then Kethna Louis broke free and managed to sneak the ball past Justine Lerond, giving the visitors an unlikely lead (0-1, 35').

Patrice Lair made a few changes at half time, sending on Julie Dufour and Hillary Diaz in place of Mickaella Cardia and Maëlle Seguin. Melissa Gomes again came close (46), but Corboz also had some decent chances for Reims (49', 57'). Melissa Gomes tested the keeper one last time before making way for Amanda Guttieres (62'). Both Maëlle Garbino and Amanda Gutteries had chances in the closing minutes, but could not quite make them stick. The Girondines slipped to a frustrating defeat against a well-organised Stade de Reims side.
