Zuriko promoted, goals for Danylo and Lenny

The Bordeaux winger featured in the starting XI for Georgia's game against North Macedonia on Friday evening, their fifth outing in Division C of the Nations League (Group 4). Georgia, currently managed by Willy Sagnol, won the game 2-0 thanks to goals from Miovski (35', og) and Kvaratskhelia (64'). Zuriko Davitashvili played 78 minutes and earned his 20th cap. This victory sees Georgia promoted to Division B of the Nations League, topping the group with 13 ahead of North Macedonia (7 pts). Georgia will be back in action tonight against Gibraltar.  

After losing to Scotland last week (3-0), Ukraine picked themselves up brilliantly to thrash Armenia on their own turf (0-5) in Nations League Tier B (Groupe 1). Danylo Ignatenko played the full 90 minutes and scored his first international goal! The stunning strike from the edge of the box was Ukraine's fourth goal. Ukraine remain in 2nd place in the group on 10 points, just behind Scotland who also beat Ireland (2-1). Danylo and co face Scotland again this Tuesday, with the winner sure of promotion to Division A.

France's U19s have been taking part in a tournament in Serbia this week. After losing to Portugal (2-0) in their first game, Les Bleuets recovered to beat Finland 2-0. Lenny Pirringuel started the game and scored the second goal (28'), his first international strike at U19 level! Johaneko Louis-Jean was on the bench for this game. The U19s have one last game to play this Monday, against hosts Serbia.

Norway lost in Slovenia (2-1) in their fifth outing in Nations League B (Group 4).  Stian Gregersen was an unused substitute for this game. Norway are still top of their group on 10 points, neck-and-neck with Serbia, who they face in their final game this Tuesday. A draw wiIl be enough for Stian and his fellow countrymen to secure promotion to Division A.
