Another undefeated weekend for our youth sides

For their 5th outing of the season, the Reserves travelled to face Stade Montois this Saturday 15th October.  Trailing 1-0 after 21 minutes, Sylvain Blaquart's players reacted in style. Just before the break, Lenny Pirringuel got the equaliser for Bordeaux. In the 63rd minute, Lucas Rocrou fired the Girondins into the lead.  This victory puts Bordeaux up to second place in the league.

This Sunday Matthieu Chalmé's U19s took on US Avranches in their 9th league game of the season. The Girondins took a first-half lead courtesy of Noa Megdad. (32’, 0-1), but US Avranches equalised early i the second half (51’, 1-1) then took the lead a few minutes later (65’, 2-1). Late substitute Alexandre Fernandes saved the day for Bordeaux with a goal in the final minute of the game (90’, 2-2). The Girondins came away with a well-deserved point.

In their 5th outing of the season, the Girondins U16s faced local rivals Floirac this Saturday. Emmanuel Tanguy's young charges came away with a point from a spirited 2-2 draw. The Girondins are currently 3rd in the league.

Romain Vitry's U19s hosted La Roche-sur-Yon this Sunday 16th October. The girls were 1-0 winners, moving up to 4th place in the U19 National Division.
