Girondines victorious in Soyaux ! [0-1]

Bordeaux got the better of hosts Soyaux in their 9th league game of the season (0-1). Maëlle Garbino scored the only goal of the match early in the second half.   The Girondines showed their steely, pragmatic side this afternoon in Soyaux. Solid and well-organised at the back, they found the opening they had been looking for early in the second half. Connecting with a pass from Julie Dufour, in-form Maëlle Garbino smashed home the winning goal.   This was Bordeaux's first away win of the season so far, a welcome result and just rewards for a patient, disciplined display. In another very positive development, Delphine Chatelin capped off her return from injury with her first start of the season.   The Girondines are currently 7th in the league, with 12 points on the board. Well done girls!
