The Reserves suffered a heavy home defeat at the hands of Pau (3-0). The visitors took the lead in the first half (17’), and cemented their advantage in the second (52’ and 74’). Jacques Ekomié started the game, but was shown a straight red just before the hour mark (58’). This third successive defeat sees Romain Ferrier's side slip to 7th place in the league, on 18 points and now neck-and-neck with Châtellerault and Pau. The boys will be looking to get back to winning ways next week in Bayonne (currently in 10th place).

Matthieu Chalmé's side travelled north to Brittany this weekend to face Stade Rennais, losing out by the narrowest of margins (1-0). The hosts nicked a goal in the 3rd minute, then held onto the lead for the rest of the 90 minutes. The U19s are now 8th in the league with 24 points, and will be keen to get back to winning ways next week when they host La Roche-sur-Yon.

The U17 National side also suffered a narrow defeat in Canet-en-Roussillon (2-1). Trailing 2-0 after 55 minutes, Sylvain Blaquart's side finally kicked into gear when Troy Evans Essa Mvondo pulled one back (60’). The Girondins are now 5th in the league on 24 points, with a big challenge ahead of them this coming weekend: they travel to face league leaders Olympique de Marseille on their own turf.
