In their 17th game of the league season, the Reserves hosted Stade Montois at Stade Pierre Paul Bernard on Sunday. David Tebili grabbed the first goal (1-0, 24’), but Malick Diane equalised soon after (1-1, 30’). The Girondins picked up the pace after the break, and Logan Delaurier-Chaubet soon but Bordeaux back in the driving seat. A second goal from David Tebili cemented the Girondins' control of the game (3-1, 69’). Defender Jacques Ekomié provided the finishing touch to this excellent performance, with a 4th goal late on (4-1, 83’). This resounding victory was the Reserves' 6th consecutive unbeaten game, leaving them 4th in Group A (Nouvelle Aquitaine).

Also on Sunday, the U19s travelled to face Angers at the Stade de la Salpinte. After a very hard-fought game, the Girondins slipped to a narrow defeat. They were ultimately unable to find a response to Lenny Pietre's first-half strike (1-0, 14’). The boys are currently 7th in the league, and will be back in action on home turf on Sunday 26 March, against US Avranches MSM.

On Sunday afternoon the U17 National side hosted Rodez for their 19th outing of the season.  Bordeaux started brightly, and soon took the lead courtesy of France U16 international Ezechiel Didehi (1-0, 20'). The visitors did their best to respond in kind, but the red card shown to Paul Bayol in the 28th minute left them with a mountain to climb. Just a few minutes later, Henoc Lusweki doubled the Girondins' lead (2-0, 32’). The second half continued where the first had left off, with two more goals from Ezechiel Didehi (3-0, 65’) and Andréa Vennettilli (80’). Bordeaux are currently 4th in the league, level on points with Toulouse FC in 3rd. Their next game will be on 26 March at 3pm, another home fixture against Balma S.C.

In their 4th outing of the Excellence round of the national league, the U19 Women travelled to face Le Mans. Despite it being three weeks since their last competitive fixture, the Girondines came charging out of the gates to show that they had lost none of their fitness or competitive edge. Sarah Guellil scored twice within the first 10 minutes (8’, 9’), and Sarah Lecaille made it three goals within the first quarter of an hour. And yet, the girls were by no means ready to sit back and relax: Serena Pinto de Queiros soon added insult to injury with another goal (0-4, 28’). The second half was slightly more sedate. Céliane Pereira pulled one back for Le Mans (1-4, 56’), but Noellie Koutassila added a 5th for Bordeaux in stoppage time (1-5, 90’). The girls are still unbeaten in 2023, and currently sit top of Group C ahead of nearest rivals Guingamp.
