On Friday Cameroon were held to a draw by Namibia (1-1) in Yaoundé, despite dominating throughout (71% possession, 18 shots on goal). After Peter Shalulile put the visitors ahead in the first half (26'), the Indomitable Lions at least avoided catastrophe by equalising in the second half courtesy of Olivier Kemen (73e), from a free-kick skillfully taken by Pierre Kunde. Malcom Bokele started the game and was subbed off at half time. Rigobert Song's side still lead qualifying Group C at this point, two points ahead of Namibia. The return leg will be played this Tuesday 28 March in Namibia.
