Stats after this weekend's victory over Laval

The central defender made his 30th appearance for the club this Saturday, and what a match he had! Yoann scored his 8th goal of the season, and his 5th in the league. The captain has already beaten his own record for goals scored in a season, when he knocked in 3 goals for Brentford in the 2017-2018 campaign. Last but not least, with three goals from direct free-kicks this season, Yoann is getting close to equalling the club record set by Wendel. The Brazilian struck four times from set pieces in 2009-2010.

Zuriko played the full 90 against Laval, which also marked his 30th appearance for Bordeaux. The Georgian winger also scored his fifth league goal and 6th in all competitions, as well as racking up his 3rd assist for teeing up Stian Gregersen. Zuriko has been on blistering form in recent weeks, with three goals and one assist in the last five games.

The Girondins did not concede a single goal for the 5th consecutive game! That is their best defensive streak since August-September 2009 in Ligue 1 (also five matches). So far this season, the Girondins have kept an impressive 17 clean sheets.

The Norway international scored his first goal of the season, connecting with a lovely ball from Zuriko Davitashvili. It was the defender's second goal in Bordeaux colours since joining last season.

Dilane Bakwa made his 50th professional appearance for the Girondins this weekend. A graduate of the club's youth academy, the winger has now played a total of 12 matches in Ligue 1, four in the Coupe de France and 34 in Ligue 2. He has scored 5 goals and provided 9 assists. Aliou Badji, who joined the club last summer, made his 30th appearance for Bordeaux. He has scored 5 goals and provided 3 assists this season.

Yoann Barbet and Fransérgio are both at risk of a one-match ban (to be served at the start of next season) if they pick up another yellow card in our remaining games against Annecy and Rodez.
