Official Statement

The Girondins de Bordeaux have been informed of the decision of the CNOSF mediators not to contest the ruling handed down by the LFP Disciplinary Committee. The club respects this decision by French sport's senior advisory body, whom we consulted on an emergency basis in order to settle the matter as quickly as possible. Nevertheless, we continue to contest the LFP's unfair and disproportionate decision, which has prevented us from finishing this season on the pitch and will negatively impact us next season too. The Girondins de Bordeaux will continue to move forward and focus on the future. Now that the disciplinary process is over, we will be fully focused on preparing for the Ligue 2 season. Nonetheless, we reserve the right to pursue all available legal avenues to achieve a satisfactory resolution to the events of 2 June.
