Abigail Kofi Kim is the newest addition to the Girondines' strikeforce! She has successfully completed a medical and put pen to paper on a contract which runs until 2025.

Born in July 1998 in Monrovia (Liberia), Abigail grew up in the USA, and started her sporting career there. Abigail led her Seattle Christian High School to the state championship title in 2015, winning that season's MVP award from the Washington State Soccer Coaches Association. University took her to California, and the Golden Bears. In 2019, Abigail made her UWS debut with LA Galaxy OC, going on to make 3 appearances as Galaxy won the league. After graduation Abigail signed for Orlando Pride, before jetting of to Italy in the summer of 2020 to join Fiorentina. She scored her first goal in Serie A on 17 December 2020 against Empoli (1-1), and three days later made her UEFA Women’s Champions League debut, in a round of 16 tie against Slavia Prague (Fiorentina won the game 3-2).

After a fruitful year in Tuscany, Abigail returned to the USA to join Orlando Pride in 2021. At international level, she has represented the USA at U18, U19 and U20 levels, taking part in the U20 CONCACAF tournament in 2018, where the USA went all the way to the final. That same year she featured in the U20 Women's World Cup. In 2019, she was part of the U23 team for the La Manga tournament. The Club is delighted to welcome Abigail Kofi Kim to Bordeaux, and we wish her every success in navy blue!
